Notting Hill, Kensington & Travel Outfit | London Love #1

I love London. Next to New York, where I used to live for a while, it is one of my favourite cities. I am lucky enough to have extended family and friends there, so naturally I visit as often as I can. When I am in the country, I usually spend my time strolling through the many beautiful neighbourhoods or trying out new restaurants and seeing lots of shows/musicals on Westend.

Two areas I especially enjoy are Notting Hill and Kensington for their beautiful architecture, cute cafés and Portobello Road/Market. I just got back from London once again and can’t wait to share some impressions and what I wore!

I love to look put together yet to be comfortable when I travel  – especially when visiting other countries during winter. In this case I paired a pair of faux suede pants form Zara with my cream coat and a blush pink sweater and scarf.

I have to say – Kensington and Notting Hill might just be the most “instagramable” places on earth. There are white buildings and flowers everywhere! Mixed with cute shops and lots of perfect photo spots, these areas are every fashion and travel blogger’s dream.

Travel Tip: When exploring the area, I suggest you hop on the tube, take the Central, Circle or District Line and get out at Notting Hill Gate. From there it is only a couple of steps to Portobello Road, where you will find cute colourful houses, nice restaurants/cafés/bars and the ever so famous Portobello Market!

While you are there, make sure to visit Farm Girl Café for great breakfast and lunch – they also have great vegetarian and vegan options (I’ll have a blogpost about the food there up soon!).
