Statement-Hosen mit coolem Schnitt sind mein am meisten getragenes Kleidungsstück. Zwar liebe ich Jeans auch, dennoch haben ein cooles Paar Culottes, eine Hose mit weiten Beinen oder Hosen aus Samt ein gewisses Etwas und machen jedes Outfit besonders (außerdem sind sie unglaublich gemütlich haha). Culottes zu Stylen kann anfangs etwas verwirrend sein, vor allem, wenn man mit dem Schnitt noch nicht vertraut ist. Mit ein paar Tipps geht die Zusammenstellung eines Outfits aber ganz schnell.
Textures, different styles of shoes and the fit (length, waistline etc.) all play a vital part in making a pair of culottes look effortless and cool.
- Using different textures on top balances the bulkiness and wideness of a culotte. Using silk, wool, satin or any fabric that is different from your culottes will draw attention to the upper half of your body and make it look slimmer.
- Styling your culottes with various pairs of shoes (heels, sneakers, flats) allows you to play around with the overall look and feel of your outfit. Wearing heels, like I did here, will make your outfit more polished and professional, while wearing sneakers will give your outfit a cool touch.
- When buying culottes, try them on with different kinds of shoes to get the right fit. Your culottes should always hit your waistline to make your legs seem longer. The cropped hem on the bottom also visually shortens the legs if it isn’t the right length for you. Make sure the hemline hits mid-calf.
- Das Zusammenspiel verschiedener Texturen in der oberen Hälfte des Outfits, gibt dem weiten Schnitt der Culotte einen Anker. Seide, Wolle, Satin oder ein anderer Stoff, der sich vom Stoff der Cullotte unterscheidet, zieht die Blicke nach oben und schenkt einen optisch schmäleren Torso.
- Eine Culotte kann gleich ganz anders wirken, wenn sie mit verschiedenen Schuhen getragen wird. Stöckelschuhe wie hier bei diesem Outfit lassen die Hose professionell wirken, während Sneakers einen cooleren Eindruck wecken.
- Beim Kauf von dieser Art Hose kann es hilfreich sein, sie schon im Shop mit verschiedenen Schuhen anzuprobieren. Auf diese Weise bekommt man gleich einen Eindruck vom Schnitt und der Länge. Culottes sollten gut in der Taille sitzen, damit die Beine länger wirken. Der verkürzte Saum macht die Beine kürzer, wenn die Länge nicht stimmt. Der Saum sollte in der Mitte der Waden liegen, dann ist der Schnitt perfekt.

Das Outfit finde ich super schick! Das könnte auch für die Jahreszeit noch passen – einfach einen dickeren Mantel und Stiefeletten und schon geht’s 🙂 Mir gefällt ja vor allem der Culottes Trend, aber an mir sieht die immer so unförmig aus. Die Tasche als Eyecatcher finde ich auch perfekt gewählt 🙂
