It’s favourites time! Ever since I started reading blogs, I have always really liked all of the favourite posts that bloggers do at the end of each month. Now that I have my own blog, I am so excited to do one as well! I really do love high-end luxury makeup but somehow my top five products this moth are all from the drugstore – who says you can’t find beautiful quality at a low price? Here are my five products I have been loving this month.
Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lip | “Echo Park” (here)
I really enjoy Colour Pop cosmetics for their lip products, eyeshadows and highlighters. One product, that stood out to me in particular, is their Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lip for its long lasting qualities (not completely matte but also not drying), opaque colour and great formular. The one that I love a lot is called “Echo Park”, a warm peachy nude, that goes with absolutely any makeup look. I have been wearing it all month (also in London) and enjoyed the “Kylie Jenner” lip thing it gave me, that everyone loves right now. It’s definitely a staple in my collection and one I will be repurchasing once it runs out.
BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo Palette (here)
If you spend a lot of time online, chances are, you have heard of ShaaanXO. The New Zealand beauty YouTuber has millions of followers online. She teamed up with BH Cosmetics to release this beauty of a palette which is amongst my favourites. The colours are pigmented, easily blendable and very versatile. It does have a little bit of fall-out but the quality for the price is insanly good. I use a lot of high-end eyeshadow palettes and I do adore this one just equally! It also comes with nine lipstick on the other side. I don’t use them a lot but they do look beautiful on the lips and last well. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here!
Soap and Glory Brow Archery | “Blondshell” (here)
If you ever wanted to try the Anastasia Brow Wiz but don’t want to spend the money – look no further! Soap and Glory’s take on the brow pencil is a really good one. With it’s small tip and great texture (not too soft and not too waxy) it helps to shape the brow perfectly and in no time. I have used both the Anastasia Brow Wiz and MAC’s Brow Pencil before and the Soap and Glory one is just as good. Sadly, it is only available in the UK, so I always stock up when I am in London. If you have the chance to get your hands on it – go for it!
ELF Blush Bronzer Duo | “Fiji” (here)
ELF is a brand I have only been using for three years but have found a couple of gems I really like. The bronzer/blush duo is only four dollars (at Target) but is a really nice choice for days when you need a two-in-one product for every day or for traveling. Both sides are incredibly pigmented, so make sure you use a light hand when applying them. The powders last a decent 8 hours on me and also look nice after working out! Just one tip: The products tend to apply a bit uneven, so I always put face powder on my cheeks before I use the bronzer/blush to prevent things from getting splotchy.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder | “Translusent” (here)
I first bought this powder because I read great reviews about it online. My usual powder of choice is one from Clinique but ever since trying the one from Rimmel, I haven’t repurchased the Clinique one again. I like to apply the Stay Matte Powder with my damp beauty blender or a big fluffy brush. It keeps my makeup on all day, keeps shine at bay and doesn’t look cakey. If you are in need of a new powder I cannot recommend this one enough!

Zeit für Monatsfavoriten! Seitdem ich begonnen habe, Blogs zu lesen, habe ich mich immer auf die Favoriten-Posts von allen Bloggern am Ende jedes Monats gefreut. Jetzt wo ich meinen eigenen Blog habe, bin ich ganz aufgeregt, auch meine Favoriten teilen zu können! Ich liebe Highend Makeup, trotzdem haben sich diesen Monat nur Drogerie-Produkte in meine Top Fünf geschlichen. Es gibt definitiv auch qualitativ hochwertige Dinge im Drogeriebereich. Hier sind meine fünf liebsten Produkte von Februar.
Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lip | “Echo Park” (hier)
Ich liebe Colour Pop für ihre Lippenprodukte, Lidschatten und Highlighter. Ein Produkt, dass mir besonders gut gefällt, sind die Ultra Satin Lip Liquid Lipsticks. Diese halten lange auf den Lippen (nicht komplett matt aber dafür nicht zu trocken), sind wahnsinnig pigmentiert und haben eine cremige Formulierung. Meine liebste Farbe im Moment ist “Echo Park”, ein warmes Nude mit Pfirsich-Unterton. Ich habe sie fast ohne Ausnahme das ganze Monat lang getragen (auch in London) und liebe den “Kylie Jenner” Look, den mir die Farbe gibt. Ich würde sie sofort nachkaufen!

Wenn ihr viel Zeit online verbringt, habt ihr sicher schon einmal von ShaaanXO gehört. Die neuseeländische Beauty-YouTuberin hat Millionen von Followern online. Sie hat vor einiger Zeit mit BH Cosmetics eine wunderhübsche Palette auf den Markt gebracht. Die Farben darin sind schön pigmentiert, leicht zu verblenden und sehr vielseitig. Bei den Lidschatten gibt es zwar ein bisschen Fall-Out aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach Top! Ich verwende viele Highend Paletten und mag diese genauso gerne. Auf der anderen Seite des Produktes befinden sich zusätzlich neun Lippenstifte. Ich benutze diese eher selten, sie halten allerdings recht gut auf den Lippen (bis zu vier Stunden) und sind sehr hübsch. Hier kommt man als Beauty-Liebhaber definitiv auf seine Kosten!
Soap and Glory Brow Archery | “Blondshell” (hier)
Wenn ihr schon immer mal den Anastasia Brow Wiz probieren, aber nie das Geld dafür ausgeben wolltet, aufgepasst! Soap and Glorys Version des Kultstiftes ist wirklich gut gelungen. Mit seiner schmalen Miene und einer super Textur (nicht zu weich und nicht zu wachsig), ist es einfach, die Augenbrauen schnell und einfach in Form zu bringen. Ich habe in der Vergangenheit sowohl den Anastasia Brow Wiz, als auch MACs Augenbrauenstift getestet und bin mit der S&G Version genauso zufrieden. Leider ist der Stift nur in der UK erhältlich, deswegen nehm ich mir immer ein paar davon aus London mit. Wenn ihr die Chance habt, einen zu bekommen – auf alle Fälle zuschlagen!

ELF ist eine Marke, die ich erst seit circa drei Jahren benutze, in dieser Zeit aber so einige Schätze gefunden habe. Das Bronzer/Blush Duo ist eine gute Wahl für Reisen oder Tage, an denen es schnell gehen muss. Beide Seiten sind sehr pigmentiert, also beim Auftrag eine leichte Hand benutzen. Die Puder halten bei mir um die acht Stunden auf den Wangen und sehen auch nach einem Workout noch gut aus. Ein kleiner Tipp: Das Produkt hat die Tendenz, beim Auftrag ein bisschen fleckig zu werden, weswegen ich davor auf meine Wangen einen Gesichtspuder gebe.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder | “Translusent” (here)
Ich habe mir den Rimmel Stay Matte Puder zum ersten Mal wegen super Reviews online geholt. Mein Go-To Puder ist normalerweise einer von Clinique, aber seit ich den von Rimmel probiert habe, ist der von Clinique nicht mehr nachgekauft worden. Ich trage das Produkt am liebsten mit einem feuchten Beautyblender oder einem großen Puderpinsel auf. Der Stay Matte Powder fixiert mein Makeup den ganzen Tag, hält den Glanz zurück und sieht nicht zu “cakey” aus.
