Fall Fashion: Childhood Memories with Esprit

childhood memories esprit cute toddler

Stripes, gingham, dungarees and colour blocking: I never missed a trend.

AD | This post is a loving cooperation with Esprit.

When I think of my childhood, so many fun memories come to my mind: Self-made ice cream in summer, snowball fights in winter and long afternoons spent playing with friends. A couple of days ago I sat down with my mum and had a look through the photo albums she made when I was a kid. You can imagine how much fun we had that afternoon. Especially all the outfits made us laugh a lot. We even found some trends that are in fashion today (dungarees, strips and pattern mix)!

One fashion brand, that has been part of my wardrobe since I was a child, is Esprit. To this day, I have lots of pretty pieces of theirs in my wardrobe. Even while looking through my childhood photo album my mum and I found several garments by Esprit.

I was most amused by the gingham dress on the top right. What a statement! The dungarees and colourful sweater in the collage have been passed on a friend and her little girl, who is wearing them on the playground nowadays. I’d love to own a striped shirt like the one on the top left! You can never go wrong with a pattern like that. As you can see, I (or let’s say my mum) was never shy of a fashion trend 😉

I am a summer child at heart and love the heat but when it comes to fashion, my favourite has to be fall. Comfy knits, structured coats and cool boots are my favourites to wear. I spent some time on the Esprit website and found some beautiful fall fashion pieces for you. Scroll down to see more!

I love coats and have a whole clothing rack full of them (it is an addiction). With the right coat, every outfit looks put together and more interesting. Esprit has a wide selection of various styles. I’d love to get all of them but I think my clothing rack would collapse 😉

When the temperatures start to drop, I love cuddling up in huge knits. My collection is quite big! I adore grey and mustard for fall and winter but have also enjoyed wearing blush pink and beige recently.

//

As an alternative to jeans I love wearing culottes and jersey pants in fall. The relaxed look is one of my favourites. I love combining delicate midi skirts and dresses with knitted materials just like in THIS post.

Which fashion brand reminds you of your childhood?
And are you still wearing it today?

Welche Marke erinnert euch denn an eure Kindheit?
Und tragt ihr sie auch heute noch?

Such gorgeous pieces featured here! I’ve gotten clothes from Target for as long as I can remember. It’s nothing fancy, but Target has certainly been a timeless staple in my wardrobe.
